Dettol win a Volvo
This was an opportunity for Bamboo Marketing to introduce a new type of promotional mechanic to Singapore. Using an insured pick 1 from X mechanic, we were able to offer Dettol shoppers the chance to win a brand new Volvo wagon, worth at the time $280K, for a fraction of the cost.
Targeted at shopper mums buying for her young family, the activity was supported with 100 x weekly lucky draw prizes, spread across 6 weeks, that included 6 x $500 pre-paid cards and 94 x Dettol hamper packs.
Up until this promotion, entry to a Dettol contest was typically via post, so having a multiple method of entry was revolutionary for this brand and for Reckitt. Entry was available via 3 methods; Online microsite, SMS and a mail entry, which we tested responses to validate future promotions.
